Dario Picariello

Dario Picariello (Avellino, 1991) lives and works in Milan. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino, he completed a master’s degree in Photography and Visual Design at NABA Milan.
His artistic practice spans various media, with a particular focus on photography and installation art, exploring the relationship between memory, identity, and time. His works construct narratives suspended between the past and the present, interweaving personal and collective dimensions through references to popular culture, vernacular traditions, and the processes of memory stratification.
His work has been exhibited in numerous cultural and institutional venues, including Open Box (Milan), LABS Contemporary Art (Bologna), TRA – Treviso Ricerca Arte, Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary (Trevi), Casa Raffaello (Urbino), Palazzo Hercolani (Bologna), the Giovanni Fattori Museum (Livorno), and Silos di Levante – Polo Santa Marta (Verona) as part of ArtVerona.
