“Che cosa dipingi a fare se io non vedo niente?”. Incontro con Chiara Bertola

During the first huge Italian retrospective of Roman Opałka’s work, BUILDING will host a conversation with Chiara Bertola, curator of the exhibition Roman Opałka Dire il tempo, in two chapters: Milan and Venice.

In fact, Dire il tempo was born from the desire to highlight the production of Roman Opałka through a selection of works which mark milestones in his research, many of which have never been presented before in Italy or never exhibited, from important private and public collections, including the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź and especially the Fonds de Dotation Roman Opałka, with which a close collaboration started during the design of the project.
Chiara Bertola

Art critic and curator, is in charge for the contemporary art program at Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice. She has held the role of artistic director at Hangar Bicocca in Milan from 2009 to 2011 and curator at Furla Foundation in Bologna from 2000 to 2015.
