Presentation of “Transitum” publication and the artist’s notebook “Whispers”, Moleskine Foundation Collection

BUILDING is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the publication Transitum, published by BUILDING; and Whispers (2024), an “artist’s notebook” from the Moleskine Collection.

As part of the exhibition project Transitum (03.04.2025 – 19.07.2025), on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 at 5PM, BUILDING is pleased to hosts the presentation of the publication about the exhibition edited by BUILDING publisher.

The publication features six critical texts by curator Marina Dacci, journalist and author Silvia Bottani, architect and IUAV university professor Agostino De Rosa, lecturer and researcher Tommaso Ghezzani, Moshe Tabibnia Gallery Conservation Center responsible Jasmine Sartor, Camilla Bagatti Valsecchi and Antonio D’Amico, president and director, respectively, of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.
Along with the textual content, the publication offers complete photographic documentation of the exhibition project spread across three venues in the city of Milan – BUILDING GALLERY, Galleria Moshe Tabibnia and Museo Bagatti Valsecchi.

On the occasion of the event, Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, 5 copies of the publication will be presented to the public and available for purchase with works made by the artist making the covers unique artworks.
At the end of the talk, Fabrizio Cotognini will be available for the book signing of the publication.

Pending the presentation, we are pleased to announce that the publication Transitum, Fabrizio Cotognini is already available for purchase at BUILDING, in the gallery’s online bookshop and at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum bookshop.

During the event Rossella Zanelli, in a dialogue with the artist, will present to the public Whispers (2024), the precious “artist’s notebook” created by Fabrizio Cotognini and donated to the Moleskine Collection.
In more than 19 years of activity we have built a collection of ‘art notebooks’, unique pieces of work created by different authors and thinkers on Moleskine notebooks and donated to the Foundation to help support its activities.
