The conversation focuses on the figure of Vincenzo Agnetti and his relationship with Enrico Castellani and Piero Manzoni. This theme is addressed by retracing the works on display and the general production of the artist, from an aesthetic, historical and critical point of view.
Giovanni Iovane Giovanni Iovane is an art critic and professor of contemporary art history at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, of which he has been director since November 2018. Among his recent exhibitions: Tiziano / Gerhard Richter, Palazzo Te, Mantova ( 2018), Second Solution of Timelessness, BUILDING, Milan (2018), curated in collaboration with the art historian and critic Helmut Friedel and Solo – Vincenzo Agnetti, Museo Novecento, Florence (2019).
Marco Meneguzzo Marco Meneguzzo is one of the most renowned Italian art critics and curator. He is lecturer at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He has curated more than two hundred exhibitions and the Iranian Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale. Director of the Giò Pomodoro Archive, he is part of the scientific committee of the Vincenzo Agnetti Archive, of the Schifano Archive and of the Nanda Vigo Archive. In 1993 he edited a video section for the Venice Biennale.
Marco Senaldi Marco Senaldi is a contemporary art philosopher, curator and theorist, and he teaches aesthetics and contemporary art in various academic institutions including, in Milan, the Bicocca University, the IULM and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He has curated international exhibitions and has published numerous essays on the relationship between philosophy, cinema and art. He recently published Duchamp. The science of art(2019). He is the author of television programs on art and history in Italy for RAI Storia, such as Genio & Sregolatezza. He works as a journalist for the most famous Italian newspapers.
